Hi, my name is Eugene Gluzberg. I was born in Ukraine in 1970s. Immigrated to United States in 1989. Currently I live near New York City (Great Neck, NY). Professionally I am a computer programmer; software engineer at Google
My interest in photography began when my sister, Kate, bought a Nikon N60 with a Sigma 28-105mm lens. Not to be outdone by my sister, I went ahead and bought a Nikon N80 with the same lens as hers. Several years later, in 2003, I met Chris Bellingham (ShotByChris.com). At the time I worked with him at a finacial company on the same project. He had filled his entire wall with amazing prints, up to 24x36 inches in size. I learned a lot from him. Another insparation in my life is my girlfriend Kay. Besides being the smartest and the most beautiful woman I know, she is also an amazing photographer with a great eye for curious things. (her favorite tool is the Nikon FM5). Kay and I thought of, and registered the domain PhotoPickles.com. Also check out Our Galleries.
